What to DO and what NOT to do

Here we have a list of factors, that search engines like and dislike.
However search engines are based on the same system, factors are acceptable for all of them.


Cool things are:

- Keywords - is good to have some keywords in your meta-keyword tag, not too many - no more than 10 is recommended

- Freshness - update your website's content, search engines like that

- Site Size (kB) - is cool to not be larger than 100 kB

- Incoming Links - as many incoming links mainly from high ranked websites you have as good for you

- Site Age - the rule is: "older is better" - trusted


Not good things for your website are:

- No Backlikns - to be listed in search engine's results, you need at least one backlink

- Link to a Bad Neighborhood - link placed on your website linking to another website that is listed (known) as "Bad" - because of its content

- Too Many Out-Links - too many links, linking out from your website on one site (probably more than 100)
